About us

Mossley After School Club was first established in September 1999 with the aim of providing wrap around care for children aged 3 - 12 year olds.

M.A.S.K has good strong links with, Mossley Toddler Group, Mossley C Of E Primary School, St Marys After School Club. We ensure we provide a safe, caring environment whilst adhering to Ofsted regulations. Over the past 20 plus years, Mask has developed into a hugely popular provider in the Congleton area, not just for care during term time but also during school holidays.

In 2003, we were approached by St.Marys R.C. Primary school and asked if we could provide care due to high demand from parents and our second club opened in June that year. During school holidays we provide holiday care, based at the Old School Building, operating around the dates of Mossley School.

Our Aim

Ensuring that the children enjoy their time at M.A.S.K is essential in our eyes and this is why we provide a wide range of games, toys, and activities daily, with access to an indoor sports hall and a secure outside area located behind the building. Having fun with their friends and feeling safe in our care is paramount; every child is individual, unique and valued.

Most importantly, your child’s welfare is top of our priority. We are proud to say we have never had a safe guarding incident due to the steps we take. When a child joins our club, we ask various questions such as allergies, legal guardians, medication etc. This is to ensure the correct steps are taken to protect your child. We also ask their likes/dislikes and any special needs which we may need to support. All information is kept strictly confidential.  All staff are DBS checked and qualified from Level 2 to Level 5. During each session there is always a fully qualified Paediatric First Aider and Child Protection Officer.

Location

Old School's Location:Refresh the page if the map does not load. The location of the Old School is highlighted with the red marker. It is found directly across from Mossley Village Hall on Leek Road. We have a small car park at the front of the building and a ramp for disabled access.

The Walk To And From School: As we are located a short distance from Mossley School all children and staff have to walk to and from school both using the shortest and safest route. From leaving the Old School Building, we turn right onto Biddulph Road and right again onto Roseville Drive. Children are grouped into twos, with staff members assisting Reception children at all times. Registers are taken before departing either settings each morning and evening. We ask that parents provide suitable clothing for their child dependant on the weather.
